Tajh Boyd and the BAMF (bad ass mother fucker) that he is, has decided to look elsewhere and pulled his verbal from WVU. He has every right to do this and I don’t fault him one bit. Losing Boyd’s commitment is the first real repercussion of having an offense that is unable to move the ball. These coaches need to show their recruiting prowess and get this kid back on board.
From his comments it appears as if he is serious about not even considering WVU any more. I hope this is Josh Jenkins esque but he has no ties to WVU, so it ain’t looking good folks. It is also very likely that Logan Heastie will also pull his commitment if we don’t turn things around very quickly.

Cam Thoroughman has become a semi-celebrity among Duke haters everywhere for planting Gerald Henderson on his ass. Just watch and enjoy.

We here at WBGV would like wish Owen Schmitt a Happy Birthday. Of course, when Owen was born the only one that cried was the doctor because you never slap Owen Schmitt.
Videos after the jump…

In an article in today’s Daily Mail, here, U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller really rips into ARR. I know, I know, get over ARR but you know what, when he is beaten down I will be here to broadcast it to the 5 people that read this blog.
Also, why do we never hear about Rockefeller being hit up for money? He is rich and if he loves this state so much why not give a few hundred million here or there to West Virginia University.

If we want to take our program to the next level we need to find three things in our next head coach. They are not easy to find but we don’t have to travel too far from home to find them.
First, we need a guy that has some head coaching experience. It can be at the D-I or D-II level but he has to have done this before. Coaching at a big time program is a plus. Continue reading

Owen Schmitt is a BAMF.
Well, the team that fell apart last week is putting a hurting on the Orange at the half. I have been keeping track of CRR’s play-calling and it is a lot better than last week.
By my count he has run around 12 different plays. I’m loving the triple option play and I can only wonder where the hell it was last week. We threw the ball down the field seven times and only threw five bubble screens, HALLELUJAH!!
Pat White looks healthy and is playing like a Heisman Candidate. Owen Schmitt looks like he wants to really hurt someone on every play, even if it is teammate. We have a ball-hawking defense, that is pretty good. Where is Devine?
